What is the most you
have paid for a bottle of water?
As I walked in the towns we stopped at in Norway I saw small bottles of water for $4.00 and $5.00. I thought it was a mistake and perhaps it was for a small case of water. But this was repeated in each town. In Ulvik, the tourist office told me the water they sold was declared the ‘best’ drinking water. the source was a glacier and since I do not plan to lick a glacier anytime soon I paid the exorbitant amount and tired it. On my return from a short hike I stopped into the office again and told him he was correct. That was the best water I have ever tasted and the LAST I shall pay $5.00 for….
